Sipping from the cup
whilst thirsting within
present familiarity elusive.

Taking it all in simply
breathing...knowing
not knowing.

Savoring memory steeped
in belief of things unknown;
with fleeting hope fades.

Ephemeral transient belief
springs naught again; once slain.
Sipping from the cup of pain.
