The goal is to bring together leaders from U.S. states and territories to examine the best practices in Medicaid and Peer Support Services for integrating healthcare across the full spectrum of behavioral and physical health.
The summits are supported by stake holders committed to fostering and developing the role of Peer Support Services in health care services and promotion. This group included: The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration; OptumHealth Behavioral Solutions; the National Association of State Mental Health Program Directors; the Carter Center; the National Council SAMHSA-HRSA Center for Integrated Health Solutions; Appalachian Consulting Group; and the Georgia Mental Health Consumer Network.
